The Course

Course details coming soon... we are thinking of making some changes! In 2009 the lap distance was 8.20 Km, last years course is below, it will give you some idea about this years course.

The course will be marked with bunting and arrows. There will be several manned checkpoints on the course plus additional roving marshals. You do not have to take any action on passing through a mid-course checkpoint. All manned checkpoints will have bins for rubbish – please use them.

If you leave the course for any reason, you must rejoin the course at the point you left it in order to continue riding. If you rejoin at another point, or shortcut the course back to the start, then your lap will be discounted.

If for some reason you leave the course and become lost, the safest way to get back to the event centre is to head downhill/east to Majura Road (listen for the sound of traffic). There is a firetrail alongside the road which will take you back to the event centre.
